CAMUS TADIMI
Dün öğleden sonra arkadaşlarımla beraber Camus VSOP Elegance, Camus XO Elegance ve Camus EXTRA Elegance konyaklarını tadarak deneyimledik. Tadım notlarıma baktığımda;
VSOP Elegance meyvemsi yapısıyla burunda ve damakta oldukça yumuşak belliki içerisindeki “eau de vie” lerin olgunlaştırma süreci standartların üzerinde, çok karmaşık bir yapısı olmamakla beraber bitişi uzun.
XO Elegance burun oldukça dengeli, floral bir yapının yanında kurutulmuş meyve aromal rının yanı sıra meşe fıçıdan gelen badem ve fındık notlarını da hissetmek mümkün. Damaktaki zenginlik güzel ve gövde sağlam. Erik, elma, fındık aromaları belirgin. Baharatımsı bir yapıya sahip. Bitiş çikolata ve tütün aromalarıyla beraber oldukça uzun.
EXTRA Elegans ise özellikli bir oluşumu var. “Eau de vie” leri oluşturan üzümler ağırlıklı olarak Cognac Bölgesinin en yüksek bölgesi olan Borderies’de yetişiyor. Tabiki Grand ve Petit Champagne bölgesinden de yararlanılmıyor değil. Burunda fındık oldukça güçlü bu aroma damakta kendini baharatsı bir yapıya teslim ediyor. Oldukça kadifemsi ve uzun bir bitişe sahip.
Yesterday afternoon, I tasted Camus VSOP Elegance, Camus XO Elegance and Camus EXTRA Elegance cognacs with my friends. When I look at my tasting notes;
VSOP Elegance is quite soft on the nose and palate with its fruity structure, obviously the maturation process of the “eau de vie” in it is above the standards, although it does not have a very complex structure, the finish is long.
XO Elegance is very balanced on the nose, with a floral structure, dried fruit aromas and notes of almond and hazelnut from the oak barrel. The richness on the palate is beautiful and the body is solid. Plum, apple and hazelnut flavours are evident. It has a spicy structure. The finish is quite long with chocolate and tobacco flavours.
EXTRA Elegans has a special formation. The grapes that make up the “Eau de vie” are mainly grown in the Borderies, the highest region of the Cognac Region. Of course, the Grand and Petit Champagne regions are also utilised. On the nose, the hazelnut aroma is quite strong and gives itself to a spicy structure on the palate. It has a very velvety and long finish.
